Precision Repairs & Sales is a Brown & Sharpe Authorized Repair Center and recognized by B.C. Ames, Diatest, Fowler, Mitutoyo, Mahr Federal, L.S. Starrett, SPI, Sunnen and many other major manufacturers in the precision gauge industry.
All Repaired instruments and gauges will be refurbished as follows:
- Completely disassembled, and inspected for damaged or worn parts.
- Repair or replacement of all worn or damaged parts.
- Ultrasonically cleaned and lubricated as necessary.
- Reassembled back to the original function.
- Calibrated to meet or exceed the original manufacturer's specifications using equipment and standards traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

We stock and maintain a variety of over 5,000 different OEM replacement parts in our inventory for all types of precision gages to ensure quicker turnaround times. In addition, our repair capabilities include a small machine shop so that everything a repair technician requires is at their disposal to provide the best quality service available.
Our S-T Industries, Inc. Universal Lapping Machine enables us to restore flatness and parallelism on your Micrometers, Calipers, and Snap Gauges at a fraction of the cost of replacement. Using our Pratt & Whitney Lapping Kit, we can restore flatness and parallelism on your Pratt & Whitney Super Bench Micrometers. The Mitutoyo Optical Flats we use verifies the flatness and parallel readings on the measuring surfaces. It is our policy not to exceed 50% the cost of a new gauge when providing our repair service without the authorization of our customers!
